As a trial lawyer, Dan's practice has been concentrated in the area of complex litigation. He has spent years learning the intricacies of class action and product liability litigation while, at the same time, representing clients in commercial disputes. Dan’s extensive experience in class action litigation includes claims ranging from pharmaceutical products to consumer transactions. He developed a wealth of knowledge by participating in rigorous certification briefing, expert analysis and settlement negotiations. In the past, Dan also represented various clients including automobile and component part manufacturers in product liability matters. Dan spends significant time on commercial litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of consumer, business and real estate litigation including contract and warranty claims and business torts.
In addition to actively litigating, Dan has spent time arbitrating matters with the AAA and he acts as a mediator. Dan was recently named Best of the Bar for 2011 in the Kansas City Business Journal.
Prior to practicing law, Dan served as a communication strategist for numerous federal congressional campaigns, and as the Political Director of a congressional campaign.
Dan is a native of Kansas City, and lives in Kansas City with his wife and four children.
